Speed Mafia

I wanted to get your thoughts on this. I got this idea off the mafiascum website. Basically, it is an entire round of mafia played in one day(or maybe over two days). Players must commit to being online during certain hours of play, say... 2-10pm est (for example). The round itself would be a basic round, nothing too fancy. The goal is to finish the entire game during the deadline. Day phases last for aprox. 1 hour and night phases last for about 30 mins. What are your thoughts? Would anyone be interested? Obviously, we would need more players signed up for the forum so this isn't going to be happening anytime soon.

interesting but its quite hard and complicated due to different time zones and days.

Idea in itself is good but I don't think I would be able to participate in this kind of round.

Sounds good, but you'd only be able to get 5 maybe 6 players for anything that lasts more than about 3-4 hours.

I suggested that on MS last time but it was smacked down.

I would be for it of course, but we would need too have min 16 Players that could be online for 5-6 Hours on the same day, and that could be very very difficult.

It would be a good thing to keep in mind for when more users sign up. With only 24 users on this forum, it would be damned near impossible.

I like the idea of speed mafia, but with everyone on at the same time, some posts are bound to be lost, so I don't know how well it would work on a forum. I think a live chat would be better.

thanks to this lynch im dead , we got somewhat of an understanding who is mafia, towns are screwed, towns are down by two characters. Next night why dont all the towns play a round of Russian roulette except why dont they put all the bullets into the revolver.
